New Industrial City in Basra
Al-Owais Company is currently working on the establishment of a fully integrated industrial city in Southern Iraq – Basra, which is expected to bring about a transformational shift in the food industries sector. This industrial city will host a variety of specialized factories for the production of various food products, covering an approximate area of one million square meters. The key facilities within the industrial city include:

Marine Dock
Spanning a total length of 1000 meters, consisting of four docks to accommodate liquid materials, containers, and bags.
Ship Unloading Areas
Designed to efficiently unload containers, liquid materials, and bagged goods.
Storage Silos
For the bulk storage of grains and legumes, following the latest global standards. This will be one of the largest storage facilities in the Middle East.
Storage Warehouses
To store dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products.
Legume Packaging Lines
For cleaning, peeling, packaging, and classifying legumes.
Dairy Production Lines
Includes the production of powdered milk in various sizes.
Tomato Paste Production Lines
Dedicated to producing tomato paste in different sizes and shapes.
Tea Packaging Lines
For packaging all types of tea in various sizes and formats with the highest quality standards.
