Al-Awais Trading and General Contracting Company was established in 2007, marking a turning point in the food processing and manufacturing industry in Iraq. The company launched with a clear vision to achieve food self-sufficiency and reduce reliance on imports, in light of global market fluctuations and rising prices. This contributed to protecting national food security.
Since its founding, the company has been committed to securing high-quality food ration card items and supplying state institutions, particularly the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Trade, with the best dry and fresh food supplies.
Al-Awais has relied on carefully considered strategic partnerships in its operations, choosing quality over quantity to provide food products that meet international standards in terms of specifications, flavor, and safety.
